7-10 page research paper on some topic of your own choice within the
general area of Cinema.  I expect you to consult at least 3, and
preferably at least 5 authoritative sources.  I also expect a page of
“Works Cited.”  
I expect you to present some personal point of view about the topic
you have chosen, but then for you to support your perspective with
references to the research you have done.  You are welcome to quote from
your sources, but ONLY if you properly offset any such quotations
within quotation marks, and properly cite them.  For example:

Rosemary seems timid, even dominated by her husband, “as if hypnotized or under some spell” (Marks, p43).  

Any plagiarism will earn an instant grade of zero, and my undying disgust.
