Effective event planning requires attention to available resources. When planning for a catastrophic event, the allocation of resources is dependent upon the level of risk. Thinking about your city or state, discuss the following:
How does your community include resource allocation into its plans?
Do they articulate priority planning based on the level of risk inherent to the community? Describe.
What would you say is missing from your community’s plans and how would you address this gap?
