Application Paper #2 

You will write a paper explaining how you would apply psychology to your personal life and your chosen profession (e.g., explain how businesses, the educational system etc. could use psychological principles). 

First Paragraph 
Mention what topics you will discuss 
State your future profession (It can be your “dream job”) You must pick only one profession and apply each concept to that profession (i.e., you must be consistent in your choice of profession throughout the paper). 

Second Paragraph 
Define/explain one of the concepts listed below from Ch. 7 (Worth 2 points) 
Apply the concept from Ch. 7 to some aspect of your personal life (Worth 4 points) 
Apply the same concept from Ch. 7 to your future career/profession (Worth 4 points) 

Third Paragraph 
Define/explain one of the concepts listed below from Ch. 8 (Worth 2 points) 
Apply the concept from Ch. 8 to some aspect of your personal life (Worth 4 points) 
Apply the same concept from Ch. 8 to your future career/profession (Worth 4 points) 

Fourth Paragraph

YOU MAY NOT USE THE INTERNET/WORLD WIDE WEB IN ANY WAY (e.g., you cannot use Wikipedia or any web page in the explanation of your concepts). 

Do NOT use second person (do not use “you” or “your” in the paper). 

The paper will be approximately 3 double-spaced typed pages (Times New Roman 12 point font)
