The purpose of this speech is to inform, explain or demonstrate something to the audience about something interesting or unusual. This should be something you know well but the general population may not know. Examples might be musical instruments, sports or physical activities, design, science or nursing…The speech should be well organized with an introduction, body and conclusion. The body should have at least three and no more than four main points. The introduction should gain our attention, establish your credibility on the topic and preview the main points of the speech. The conclusion should summarize and provide closure. Each main point in the body of the speech should be developed with examples and facts. A typed outline and works cited list is a significant portion of the grade for this speech You need at least three sources for this speech. You probably want to show us something at some point during the speech
The speech should be delivered extemporaneously using an outline. Remember good posture, minimal movement and direct eye contact with the camera as you record. Keep your tone conversational but avoid vocal fillers.
