InstructionsDesign a social media plan for the blog posts you’ve already published. You don’t need to publish the social posts, but rather plan what they would look like and the format they would take.
When putting your plan together, ensure you’re doing so as a multi-channel effort. Also be sure to outline a strategy for each piece of content you currently have live. At this point in the semester, you should have at least five posts to plan for.
Will you promote a post with a livestream or short video clips? Which captions and #s will you use? Will you include these posts in a newsletter? Will you be active on social media in between sharing these posts, and if so, how?

In your plan, include the captions you would use for each post (complete with @s and #s), visuals, and proposed format.

PurposeTo understand how content on a blog translates to social media.

Some Tips
This module you’re designing a social media plan for the blog posts you’ve already published. Here are some tips:

As the assignment says, this should be a multi-channel effort. Your first step should be identifying which channels you’ll use (as you’ll post in the discussion). Doing so will help guide the content.

Once you have the channels locked in, think about their features. Instagram alone has the feed, Stories, IGTV, Reels, streaming. Make sure you identify what exactly you’ll use. You may have one approach for promoting your posts, and decide to do extra live-stream sessions in between.

Think of visuals and copy separately but also as a complete package. As they do with blog posts, they need to work together. That means captions for your posts, but also whether there’s any copy on the image or video itself.

Please be as detailed as you can. Include the captions, #s and @s you would use, and everything else the post needs to go live.

Have fun with this! You’ve worked hard getting your blog posts published. Now it’s time to explore how they might live on people’s feeds in a way that’s both creative and engaging.
