This assignment will be used to explore the psychosocial topics of Trust vs. Mistrust, Autonomy vs. Shame and Doubt, Initiative vs. Guilt, as they contributed to your development of Industry vs. Inferiority in your late childhood.
 
For this journal assignment, you will explore how your life events impacted your psychosocial development at each of the stages listed above and how those events impacted your belief in your abilities in regard to school, professional, and overall life competencies that you hold in the present moment. Explore: are your thoughts and beliefs that you hold about yourself rooted in reality and represented by who you actually are today, or are they rooted in an older version of you from childhood? While you will be using actual events that occurred in your life from birth through late childhood (~12 yrs. of age), it is expected that (like you will do in your milestone projects) you use and cite specific developmental information from your textbook and other sources to describe your life events utilizing clinical developmental language.
 
Guidelines 
This journal assignment is to be completed in APA format (double spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, 1-inch margins, and in-text citations for every developmental topic in the paper). ABSTRACT PAGE IS NOT NECESSARY.
Page length requirement- 3-5 pages, not including title page and references.
