The National Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education (NASPA) work to assist college campuses in bringing awareness to college dating violence.
 
NASPA supports three websites aimed at public awareness on college dating violence.
 
Review one the following three:
The Red Flag Campaign: a public awareness campaign designed to address dating violence and promote the prevention of dating violence on college campuses. 
Love Is Respect: a website devoted to education on the issue of dating violence among adolescents and a partner of The National Domestic Violence Hotline, and the Mary Kay Corporation. 
Safe Horizon: Located in New York City, Safe Horizon is the largest services agency in the United States. It assists victims of crime and abuse through 57 program locations, including shelter, in-person counseling, legal services, and more.  
Address the following scenario:
You have a friend that is in a new relationship. You have observed some behavior that makes you wonder about his or her mental or physical health. How would you begin to identify if the friend is in an abusive dating relationship, how would you engage in a conversation with the friend, and what resources could you share with your friend?
