Please find attached the assignment sheet for the Proposal (or Policy) Essay. This is a more structured assignment than previous essays, so watch my video about how to write the essay.
Right now, though, start thinking of a problem. Easy, right? We’re lucky we live in a time with a lot of problems. If you ever said, “There should be a law….” or “They ought to change how they do that….” this is the paper assignment you’ve been waiting for! Read Ch. 12 in Everything’s an Argument to get a better sense of this assignment. I do NOT post examples of paper topics for this one;  I want each of you to come up with your own.
