African politics Describe the ethnic breakdown in your country? How does this breakdown affect domestic politics?

Students will be assigned countries by week 2. Case study assignments prompts are listed after the course readings for each class. Each student is responsible to complete 5 case study assignments (CSA) of their choosing.
A CSA should be approximately 1-­‐1.5 pages in length (single spaced). CSAs longer than two pages will not be accepted. The CSA should address the questions provided using material read in class as well as outside material including news sources and academic articles. Only reputable sources and material should be used. All material used must be properly cited. The CSA should address all parts of the question and be well-­‐written and proofread. Points will be deducted for poor spelling and grammar.
This course meets in person once a week on Tuesdays. The CSA is due before 9am on Tuesdays.Late CSAs will not be accepted. Each CSA will be scored out of a total of 8 points. If you complete more than 5 CSAs I will drop your lowest CSA grade.
