From data to information to knowledge

Have you ever worked as a server at any restaurants? If yes, how important is tips to you?
For this week’s discussion board, let’s try something different. Attached is an Excel file with tips data. Reflecting to everything you have learned so far and your experiences, what information would you like to know from this tips data file? Based on your knowledge and skills of Excel, can you do some analysis to generate those information you would like to know?
Requirements
1. Read “An Example of Using Excel to Analyze Data and Present Results.” You may try the Extra Credit Discussion Board (due on 10/10) to learn more about using Excel for data analysis.
2. List five of the most important questions you would like to find answers for. You may state that in question format. For example, what is the average tipping percentage? Would female guests tip more than male guests? And more…
3. Do some analysis to find answers to your questions? Do not reply by your experience. You have to use results of your analyses to answer your questions.
4. Write about how you do the analyses.
5. What else you would like to know from this data set.
