Week 2 Teacher Consultaton
 If you are unable to consult with your feld placement teacher, use the informaton below for
the Site Demographics on the Guided Field Experience Worksheet. You need to formulate your
own responses for questons 4, 6, and 7 of the Site Demographics.
 Determine what standard you will teach in your lesson and how you will assess the students’
knowledge.
 Explain the difference between an accommodaton and a modifcaton on an assessment.
 Explain the purpose of Title I programs offered in your state.
 For the tmeline, explain how you will complete Parts 1 – 4. Alternatves for certain sectons of
the Guided Field Experience Worksheet are provided in the atached document.

Week 5 Signature Assignment: Assessment Reflecton
Include a copy of the pre-assessment created for the feld experience worksheet.
Part I:
Go to the video library in Educatonal Impact and select “Exceptonal Teaching in Acton.” View the
following videos:
 Module 2 Topic 1: Ms. Zanjani’s Small Guided Reading Group – Elementary
 Module 2 Topic F: Ms. Cowger’s Mathematcal Thinking Class-Elementary
 Module 2 Topic 7: Ms. Dale’s Interdisciplinary Space Staton STEM class – Middle School
Write a reflecton that includes three concepts you learned by watching the videos.
Part II:
Select one of the elementary math or ELA lessons (at least 25 minutes in length) in Educatonal Impact
ttled “Classroom Lessons Un-narrated” that includes the teacher using formatve and/or summatve
assessments during the lesson. Write your reflecton based upon the video you selected. Describe the
lesson and assessment used in the video. Answer as many of the reflecton questons provided in the
assignment as possible. Be specifc in describing the lesson content, standards, type of assessment,
modifcatons noted during lesson, how the teacher used or can use the assessment data, and
effectveness of the instructonal strategies and assessment. Review the guided feld experience rubric,
part 4: reflecton, and include informaton described in the rubric.
