Project Definition, Scope, Goals, and Domain Overview
The first step in the software requirement specification (SRS) process is to understand and document the
business interests associated with the software that is to be developed. This includes defining the project
domain, scope, and goals as well as identifying, analyzing, and understanding the interests of project
stakeholders. Comprehensively understanding, gathering, and documenting information related to these
elements is the key to informing subsequent steps in the SRS process.
In this assignment, you will use information gathered from the CapraTek scenario to describe the business
challenge and to define the project scope, goals, and domain.
