Can red cabbage juice be used as a pH indicator

Part 1: Write a brief summary of your lab (4-5 sentences). For example, if your parents ask what you are doing in this lab, this is what you would tell them.
Answer:
Part 2: What data will you be collecting, and how will you present this data in your lab (table, graph, observations, etc.)?
Answer:
Part 3: Recall that the whole point of the lab is to test your hypothesis. How will the conclusions obtained from your data support (or not support) your hypothesis? In other words, what might you observe that would support your hypothesis, and what might you observe that would not support your hypothesis?
Answer:
Part 4: Create the procedure for your lab (it should be a numbered list of steps)
Step 1
Step 2
etc.
Part 5: List any materials that you think you’ll need for the lab (it should be a bullet point list of specific materials). Hint: you should have at least 3 acids, 3 bases, and one neutral substance. They should be varying levels on the pH scale (to give a good distribution of data), and also liquid and relatively clear (otherwise it will be hard to see and won’t mix well with the red cabbage juice).
