DEFINING RISK:

a)  Discuss the difference in ‘risks’, ‘issues’ (a.k.a. problems), and ‘constraints’ and give at least one example of each.

b)  What does the level of “uncertainty”
have to do with risk? If a risk no longer has a level of uncertainly, is
it still a risk – why or why not?

c)  Although risk can both negative and
positive consequences, why do you think many project teams tend to focus
on negative risks?

d)  What does “risk adverse” and “risk tolerant” mean?  How would you characterize your current employer?  How about you?
