Investors can choose from many thousands of stocks. The large number to choose from can be quite daunting to new investors. Fortunately, some good stock screeners that will find only the kinds of companies the investor is looking for are available for free on the Internet. Looking for small value companies?
A stock screen at Yahoo! Finance will show stocks that meet a variety of criteria, such as those stocks with earnings growth rates better than 25% and relatively low PE and PEG ratios or undervalued stocks with a strong and consistent history of earnings and revenue growth. Yahoo! Finance provides 16 screens like these to choose from. Below is the link to Yahoo! Finance’s screener page.
