This is a reflection paper assignment.  Sometimes innovation requires taking something complex and breaking it down into smaller, more manageable parts. Such is the case when we attempt to manage the business processes that make up a complex organization. Please review the APQC Process Classification Framework as one of your readings to complete this assignment.

Answer the questions below in your write up.

1. In terms of complexity, how might such a classification framework help a business leader manage innovation and entrepreneurship in his or her organization? There is not necessarily one right answer.
2. Using the framework, please identify one key process area you are familiar with where innovation and entrepreneurship are needed (or where improvements are needed).
3. Please provide the process name and ID number (e.g., 4.2.1) at the level of detail you are comfortable with. Then explain why you chose that specific process, and how innovation might lead to better performance outcomes.
