Psychology of research methods

 These are the questions I need to answer 
o  Make sure the behavior you are going to observe is dichotomous

o  Edit your formal research question several times. Perhaps read it out loud to make sure it is well written and clear

o  Make sure you follow the guidelines for writing testable hypothesis (I recommend double checking your hypothesis against the examples provided in the Powerpoint slides for hypothesis development)

Answer: Bullying on a college campus.

2. State your formal research question. (2 pts).

Answer:  If someone was being bullied would anyone stop to help.

3.  State your formal research hypothesis.  (2 pts). If someone is being bullied would more males or more females stop to help?

4.  What is the SCALE of measurement (nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio) for each variable? (2 pts)

5.  How will you measure this behavior (operational definition)? (2 pts)
