1. Knowledge about cultures, our own and others deepens our understanding and effectiveness with students.  Describe three ways an educator can learn about other cultures, and one specific way that  you personally commit to learning about other cultures. 
2. Some educators believe that creating an inclusive multicultural education environment is not a good investment of funding. How would  you respond to this concern, and what kinds of things would you integrate into your current teaching environment, or your future one?
3. Often times, people limit the idea of diversity to only skin color, or race or simply culture.  What are some important areas of diversity to YOU that you did not consider, and elements of diversity that may be of challenge to you as an educator.
