The Invention of Inventions by Landes
Don’t try to provide some general summary without reading the article. In other words, you need to understand what you are reading and answer questions accordingly. Please note, If you fail to provide a good answer then, I will request a refund. Last time a person accepted my previous task and provided some general answer and because of that I only received 2 out of 10. I don’t want this to happen again. I will check the paper thoroughly.

The Landes article (attached below) covers the middle ages which is arguably the golden age of inventions many of which still affect society centuries later.
Some historians believe we are in such an age now and the inventions we are seeing now will transform society for centuries to come.
1) Summarize the inventions and their impact Landes refers to (just a few sentences each)
2) For each invention in 1) come up with a modern-day analog of a current technology that you think will transform society for generations to come and why. For example eye-glasses can be considered as augmenting humans to overcome their limitations and a modern-day analog is brain machine interfaces. (one paragraph each).
3) For three items from 2) discuss the ethical consequence of the invention. (one paragraph each)
4) The last part of the article discusses how some regions (Europe) flourished with this new technology. Name a region (geographic or social etc.) which will NOT flourish given an invention you mention in 2) (one paragraph).
