The Signature Recipe/Service

The student is to create a standard recipe for the product as listed in the BIG IDEA. The standard recipe worksheet will be created using a recipe costing template as provided by the instructor. Through research and independent study, the student will gain a better understanding of cost and standardization for menu production. By completing the standard recipe and calculations, the student will gain the necessary computer and mathematical skills used in today’s foodservice environment.
