These are 2 SEPERATE ASSIGNMENTS. You need to read the readings that i have attached below and write a reflection essay on it. You simply read the readings and answer the questions. 

I have attached the readings for both of the reports below. Match the names of the readings to the report as needed. 
SAME RULES APPLY TO CITATION ON BOTH REPORTS 
The topic for the first report is:
Compare theories of Beauty in at least three of the following:
Plato, The Greater Hippias
Tolstoy, What Is Art 
Batteux, The Arts Reduced to a Single Principle 
Copland, Music and Imagination 
Sulzer, Dictionary of the Fine Arts
You can call it,  A comparison of theories of beauty in writings of  (author’s names)
The length should be 750 to 1,000 words.
Don’t worry about academic citation policy. We know what the sources are. If you use a quote or paraphrase just put the page number in brackets.
The Tolstoy doesn’t have page numbers, so just put his name.

The topic for the second report is: 

1. Do an analysis of a composition of your choice that refers to concepts found in at least three of the following readings: Meyer, Nattiez, Dahlhaus, Freud, Cavell, Rhetoric.
