This is a business case proprosal POWERPOINT for the PICO problem listed below!!!!!!! The organization that will be discussed is Oregan State Hospital. I will attach the rubric, reqirements, instructions and examples in an attachment
Problem: The facility that I work at serves uninsured patients. Schizophrenia patients facing an acute crisis, require inpatient hospitalization until they are stable. Once stabilized, patients are discharged home with medications and are scheduled to follow up with an outpatient provider. The problem that is noted is that once patients are discharged, they do not take their medications as scheduled which leads to behaviors that require readmission to the hospital.    
Intervention: Long acting monthly injections 
Comparison: Discharged home with medications to follow up with an outpatient care provider. 
Outcomes: Reduce readmission rates and hospital cost .
