Throughout this course, you are engaging in discussions and conducting research about a broad range of topics that are important for you to know about biological psychology. For your final in-depth paper at the end of Module 5, I would like for you to choose a topic now which you find intriguing and important. The paper you submit at the end of the course should provide a solid background and description of your chosen topic, discuss current research (and treatment, if applicable), and explain how this topic relates to everyday life.
The topic you choose should be one that interests you and does not necessarily need to be something we reviewed in the course. Just be sure that the topic bridges both biology and psychology!

For this current assignment, please submit your topic to me along with at least three academic references you have identified as contributing to your understanding of the topic. Provide a paragraph that explains why you chose your topic. For each academic reference, you cite, write a brief paragraph describing the purpose, results, and implications of the research described in that article. This description is often called an annotation.
So your submission should include the following elements:
