WRITING ASSIGNMENT 1 INSTRUCTIONS Write a concise 2-page paper answering the following prompt:
How can a Christian utilize logic and argumentation in ways that are gracious and loving as opposed to confrontational?
The paper can be written in 1st or 3rd person and should be 2 double-spaced pages (full pages not including cover sheet or works cited). It needs to have a cover page, works cited page, and peer review page (see below for more instructions). The paper must be numbered and written in 12-point font in Times New Roman. You must use proper MLA citations (both internally and in the works cited). You must have 2 scholarly sources, one of your sources should be your textbook Prelude to Philosophy by Foreman and the other should be obtained either from the library or from the online databases in the library. Do not use online sources. (See additional source)

Peer Review Page: Students must peer review with at least 1 student and/or friend before submitting the paper. After making the corrections of the peer review, students will submit the final draft via Moodle before class. Students must have a page with both the peer reviewer’s names, signature, and the date they reviewed the paper. Take a photo of their signature with your phone and include it in your word document. (Do not include this)
Paper Layout: Your first page should be a cover page with your name, date, course code, title of the paper, and my name.
The next 2 pages (pgs. 2-3) should be your actual paper.
The next page (pg. 4) should be your works cited.
The last page (pg. 5) should be the peer review page.
Grading Criteria: • Comprehensiveness, depth and breadth of content (10 points)
• Writing Style and MLA Components: in-text citations and a Works Cited page (included); pages numbered with 12 point, Times New Roman font (10 points)
• Peer review page complete with review and signatures (10 points)
• Sources used are credible (at least two scholarly sources as indicated in the assignment instructions) (10 points)
• Paper layout: paper has a cover page with the essential components and consists of 2-3 pages of content, a “Work Cited” page and a peer review page. (10 points)
