Your goal for this journal is to develop an original newspaper style article for The Daily Prophet newspaper in the Harry Potter books. Students must use the language of the wizarding world as well as muggle language. 
Think about the wizard world and what types of news articles would appear in The Daily Prophet, the wizard world newspaper. Local news, world news, politics and government, entertainment, business, sports, crime report, investigative, or culture are all types of articles written in muggle newspapers. Consider what other types of information may be important or presented to wizards and witches. Your audience for this assignment are muggles at large, your peers and professor. Remember, you are the reporter. Be creative.
