4-2 Small Group Presentation: Negligence: McDonald’s Hot Coffee Case

In Module Three, you researched and discussed the McDonald’s hot coffee case.

Working with your group members, put together a PowerPoint presentation (or other presentation format of your choice) that identifies the legal claims or defenses that relate to negligence, depending on whether your group is writing in support of the plaintiff or the defendant.

When the presentation is completed, one member of your group must post it to the Module Four Small Group Presentation discussion topic. This presentation must be submitted by Thursday.

Review other classmates’ presentations. In response to the other presentations, you must comment individually on at least one other group’s presentation and determine whether the claims or defenses are strong enough, on their own, to successfully state or defeat a claim of negligence against McDonald’s.
