You are a consultant hired to review reentry programs in Los Angeles County. You were hired by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. Your contract asks you to review the programs overseen by the Health Services of Los Angeles County (Links to an external site.) Office of Diversion and Reentry. Review their programs, RICMS, Sector, College and Career, LA Free the Vote, Invest, Fair Chance Campaign, and Breaking Barriers.
After reviewing the programs, identify one for expansion and replication to other states. You must identify the strengths and weakness of the program. As part of the contract, you are to provide routine updates on your research and recommendations. You have been doing this by providing a basic memorandum that contains a BLUF – Bottom Line Up Front – of your recommendation.
Using a basic memorandum, write a BLUF to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors that identifies the program you think is the best for expansion and replication. After conducting research, you must write a basic memorandum that follows the following criteria:
The length must be between 250 and 350 words. You will be penalized for shorter or longer memos.
Word length applies to the body of the memo only. The “To,” “From,” “Subject,” and “Signature” lines do not count towards the word count.
Write the word count after your signature line as such: Word Count: 450 Words
Cite sources using APA footnotes only.
Use proper grammar and punctuation.
