Why is it that when we see someone on television or in a movie society tends to think that the “actor” is like their character they play? For example: when I was growing up I watched “Little House on Prairie.” One of the characters was Nellie Olson, she played a mean little girl. The actress Alison Margaret Arngrim told about being in the store one day and a little girl came up to her and kicked her in the shin and told “Nellie” she needed to stop being mean to Laura.

So in 200 words or more discuss why you think the media (especially visual media) has an impact on our social construction of reality? Why or why not?
