Read the Book of Acts and then write a 10 page paper that
addresses the following:
1. How does the source depict the organization/structure and message of the early
church?
2. How does the source depict the relationships of early Christians:
a. within the Christian community itself?
b. with the Jews?
c. with the Greeks?
d. with the Romans?
3. Can a reader of this (Christian) document draw any general conclusions about:
a. how Christians viewed themselves?
b. how Christians viewed non-Christians?
c. the reliability of Acts as a historical source?
The paper should be typed and double-spaced.
Use a 12 or 14 font size.
-Title page
-Outline with a thesis statement (i.e. a statement of the main idea/opinion
presented in the paper based upon the analysis of the sources)
-Body of paper (10 pages) with parenthetical, in-text citations
-Bibliography/Works Cited if other sources are used
